For the first time ever, the complete soundtrack music for the classic cult films "Joy Of Flying" and "Vanessa". Selections were released on a compilation LP in 1977 on a Hong Kong import LP which went platinum, and is still highly sought after today by collectors and fans of Gerhard Heinz' music alike. This release sees a complete version of what that LP may have been had it been a double album.

Disc 1 is the complete soundtrack music to "Joy Of Flying", minus 1 cue that was not able to be located, and is sadly assumed lost. Disc 2 is the complete music score of "Vanessa", which contains a few songs that were planned to be in the film, but did not make the final cut. If you are familiar with both German and U.S. versions of the film, you'll know which ones did and didn't make it into either.

At the end of Disc 2 is a few bonus tracks. One is an alternate mix of the main vocal theme from "Vanessa", which was originally remixed by producer/engineer Jimmy Michaels in 2014 for a no longer available compilation album. The other bonus track is a recently unearthed session outtake uncovered from "Joy Of Flying". It appeared to be a very rough idea/test mix (in Hi-Fi mono) of an extended 12" Disco Remix idea for the vocal theme that never quite came together. The bongo rhythm tracks are very loudly laid over a never released extended & remixed version of the tune. We decided to include this as a second bonus for the true fan and collectors out there.
